| My name is Scott Stalker and as of
January 7th I am enrolled in the 19K OSUT program at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
I created this site so my family, friends, and anyone interested could
get a better idea of what basic combat training for an armor crew
member is all about. I enlisted three months prior to my shipping
date and during that time I had a difficult time finding good information
regarding the 19K training process. I have provided links to what
little I was able to find about the M1 Abrams and the training its
crew members undergo below. In the weeks to come during my training
I plan on keeping a journal of my experiences at Ft. Knox. The journal
entry's will be posted here and will be updated
often. These entry's are in addition to the letters I hope to send
to all those close to me. So be sure to check back here often so you
