Sunday July 27
Papa Docks for Sunday lunch
Steel Mariachi player outside of the resturant
Munchkin tied up at Canyon Lake yacht club, notice the clouds in the back ground
Heading back towards the Randolph Marina, looks like rain, the wind was starting to blow so we furled the gib and main and switched over to the engine.
The wind had picked up to over 20 kts and it was starting to get a little rougher, notice that my hair is blowing straight out, not a good sign!
With both sails furled and the engine at near max, we were not making headway, and the main storm line had not hit us yet. With in minutes of this picture the wind would pick up to over 30 kts, wind blown waves would be breaking over the bow and we would turn to run with the storm and look for a safe harbor.
After the strom, Raquel and Michelle stick their heads out of the forward hatch. In the background the lake has gone back to it's usual self, light winds and smooth sailing.
