Open Section: Mark Dejmek and James Rohrbaugh tied for 1st and 2nd with 3.5 points, winning $150 each. 3rd place and the U2100 prize was split between Selby Anderson and Anthony Guerra with 3.0 points, winning $87.50 each. For the U1900 prize there was a 4-way tie between Julian Hernandez, Paul Reid, Greg Wren and Frank Vara with 2.0 points, winning $18.75 each.
Reserve Section (U1700): Rheanna English
and Gabriel Guerra tied for 1st and 2nd with 4.0 points, winning $100 each.
Tied for the U1500 and U1300 prizes were Richard Gabriel and Derrick Scott
winning $62.50 each. Vicente Santos, Richard Weber and Juan Davila tied
for the Unrated prize and won $16.67 each.
The Best Combination Prize of Fritz CD's was awarded to Mark
Dejmek.
The tournament was directed by J.P. Hyltin for the San Antonio Chess Club.
