BIO

Where I live and why I live here.

I frequently go hiking in the Big Thicket National Preserve near Beaumont, Texas, where I grew up. There are a few armadillos out there...not really ferocious beasts.

While in the Army, I was a Vietnamese interpreter/translator in Viet Nam from 1967-1968.

Vietnam and back to Texas. We've just got to stop killing people.

By the time I got out of the Army, I was an anti-war G.I.

From the French High School Class of 1960, Beaumont, Texas

I am a benefactor of Poetry Daily.
