We still have our Toyota Tundra Truck, pretty much Vicky's as I rarely drive it anymore.  Specs:  2000 Black Limited V8 TRD 4x4, Daystar full lift, Chrome wheels, BFG 285/75 R16 AT ko tires, K&N Gen II FIPK, Flowmaster 50 Series muffler, Brush Guard, Hood Guard, Nerf Bars and Texas Trophy Hunter sticker on the back window.

I recently got rid of the '96 Mustang GT Vert I had for a '98 GT Vert, this time in red and most importantly a stick.  The '96 was an automatic and I could not STAND it.  What is the point in having a sports car if it is not a manual.  Overall much happier now, so far the only mods I've had done to it is the Mach cold air induction kit and a complete Magnaflow exhaust system including the high flow cats.  Loud, but not too loud especially being in a convertible.

We just got back in November from a week long cruise in the Western Caribbean with ports of call Belize, Costa Maya, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.  I placed 2nd out of 723 players in a $15 Texas Hold-em tournament winning over $1500 paying for the trip :)  More on Hold-em later...  The cruise was great, Megan our 7 year old, LOVED it.  They had a kid's club with plenty of things to keep her busy, including dissecting their own squid.  We did 2 land excursions, a Jungle Buggy tour to part of the Belizean Jungle (mostly in the dark because we anchored too late) and a catamaran ride to a sand bar off of Grand Cayman Island to swim with a BUNCH of Sting Rays.  Now that was kind of freaky, the bay was kind of rough with big swells and the Rays were swimming all over trying to get some of the food the staff brought.  The Rays felt exactly like wet Portabella mushrooms, and no, they did not sting a single person.  As the staff put it, "Would you hurt your bar tender or cook bringing you food and drink every day?".

I've been playing a bunch of Texas Hold-em lately and vastly improving my skill.  I started out at the .50/$1 tables a year ago but now I only play the $3/6, $4/8 and $5/10 tables along with the tournaments up to the $100 buy-in.  As I mentioned earlier I almost won a very large multi player tourney.  I was heads up with an even chip stack and I raise and then re-raise all in with my pocket aces.  He got VERY lucky and drew out an inside straight on the river holding a J-T os.  Oh well, I played the hand correctly and still won over $1500.  :)  I mostly play at Pacific Poker (their interface sucks but there are soooo many fish there) and UltimateBet (VERY tough site but the best interface).  I tried Party Poker but there are so many people that play there that it is hard to get a "good" seat.  I've also read most of the books out there and if ya email me I will give ya some advice on what to read.

Megan is kicking some major butt and impressing her instructors in her Karate classes.  We are amazed that she did so well in the Demonstration Team tryouts, she was extremely focused at the task at hand, which was to get selected.  She ended up being one of the 12 chosen and she is the youngest by 2 years.  They recently performed at a Karate tournament and they were also pre-game entertainment at a Spurs basketball game.   After holiday break, they will be working on a very extensive program involving weapons to prepare for the Black Belt ceremony in the spring.  This is such a huge event that they have to rent out  College auditoriums.  When in session, Megan trains up to 3 times a week.  Vicky has turned into a Karate mom, carting Megan here and there

We have recently discovered a GREAT local artist while attending the big Willie Nelson fest that is held every year.  Corry Morrow is nothing less than outstanding.  His style I guess would be called Texas Country/Rock.   His latest CD release also includes a DVD of one of his concerts.  I wish more artists would do that.  I'm sure 99% of y'all never heard of him, but he is worth checking out.  He was a college roommate with Pat Green, maybe ya heard of him.  Pat is getting very good play on the "Nashville" circuit and Corry's sound is very similar.

We have been to one Spurs game so far this year and one minor league hockey game (the Rampage).  The new SBC center they built to keep Tim Duncan here is worth every penny.   We are looking forward to numerous Spurs play off games this year.  :)   During the summer we like to attend a few Mission games.  They are the farm team for the Seattle Mariners MLB team.  There is so much to do here, and notice I did not even mention the world famous River Walk, and we are loving every minute of it.  I highly encourage everyone to come and visit San Antonio.  You will not meet a more friendly bunch of people and there is so much to see around the area from the Hill Country to Corpus Christi to Mexico!!
