Introduction:
Thomas (1850-1917) followed his father Thomas (1808-1862) to Michigan. The elder Thomas had been a farmer in Zennor Parish, Cornwall. The younger Thomas immigrated in 1874 and his wife, Sarah Jane Mann, followed after the birth of her second child in early 1875.
