The Boase families lived in the parishes of Paul and Madron, which were located adjacent to each other in Mount's Bay, Cornwall.
Mousehole was the coastal port of Paul. Penzance, the largest town in the area, was in Madron.
The family of John Boase (died 1655) lived in Paul. The family of William Boase (died after 1618) lived in Madron.
